At FindCarForRent.com, transparency and clarity are at the core of our business operations. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains when, how, and if refunds may apply. By using our services or confirming a booking through us, you agree to all terms stated below.

1. General Policy Overview

  1. 1.1 FindCarForRent.com functions as an independent car-rental deal provider. We do not own or operate vehicles, and all rentals are ultimately fulfilled by third-party authorized dealers across the United States.
  2. 1.2 All fares, rental amounts, and booking conditions are disclosed before payment and confirmation. Once a customer gives written consent via email and the transaction is processed, the sale is considered final and non-reversible except as outlined in this policy.
  3. 1.3 Customers are urged to carefully review all details in their consent email (vehicle type, location, pickup/drop-off times, amount, and terms) before replying with approval.

2. Non-Refundable Bookings

  1. 2.1 Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all bookings made through FindCarForRent.com are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  2. 2.2 Once payment is processed and confirmation is issued, no refund, cancellation, or modification will be honored, regardless of reason — including but not limited to:
    • Change of mind or personal circumstances.
    • Travel delays, missed pickups, or incorrect travel dates provided by the customer.
    • Dissatisfaction with the rental company, vehicle type, or service delivery.
    • Health issues, emergencies, or flight cancellations beyond our control.
  3. 2.3 Non-refundable status is clearly disclosed prior to your consent. Proceeding with approval implies complete understanding and acceptance.

3. Refund-Eligible Cases (Strictly Limited)

Refunds may be considered only under the following specific situations:

  1. 3.1 Duplicate Charge: If your card was accidentally charged twice for the same booking due to a technical or processor error. Proof must be provided.
  2. 3.2 Dealer Unavailability: If, after confirmed payment, the selected dealer fails to honor or provide the booked vehicle, and no equivalent replacement is available.
  3. 3.3 Company Error: If an administrative mistake was made on our side (such as mis-entered date or vehicle type) and the issue cannot be corrected within a reasonable time frame.

⚠️ Important: Refund eligibility in these cases is still subject to verification and approval by our accounting and partner review teams.

4. Refund Process and Timeline

  1. 4.1 All refund requests must be submitted in writing to support@findcarforrent.com within 48 hours of the scheduled pickup time.
  2. 4.2 Refunds, if approved, will be processed only to the original form of payment and may take up to 30–45 business days, depending on bank and processor timelines.
  3. 4.3 FindCarForRent.com reserves the right to deduct processing, administrative, or supplier-imposed charges from any approved refund amount.

5. Cancellations Before Consent

  1. 5.1 You may withdraw your interest before sending written consent (email approval). Once consent is received and booking initiated, cancellation requests are void.
  2. 5.2 If you verbally request a quote but never confirm in writing, no charges will apply.

6. Booking Modifications

  1. 6.1 Post-confirmation modifications (date, vehicle, location, duration) are not guaranteed and depend entirely on the respective rental dealer’s policy.
  2. 6.2 Any modification accepted by the supplier may result in additional charges, payable before the change is finalized.

7. Disputes and Chargebacks

  1. 7.1 Customers agree not to file chargebacks or payment disputes with their bank or card issuer without first notifying and allowing FindCarForRent.com up to 45 business days to review and resolve the matter.
  2. 7.2 Any unauthorized or premature chargeback will be treated as a breach of contract, and the company reserves the right to pursue recovery through legal or collection channels.

8. No-Show and Early Return Policy

  1. 8.1 Failure to appear at the scheduled pickup location (a “no-show”) will result in 100% forfeiture of the booking amount.
  2. 8.2 Returning a vehicle earlier than the agreed duration does not entitle the customer to any partial refund or credit.

9. Force Majeure

FindCarForRent.com shall not be responsible for delays, cancellations, or unfulfilled services caused by events beyond reasonable control — including natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, technical failures, or supplier insolvency. No refund shall be issued under such circumstances.

10. Policy Enforcement

  1. 10.1 Our refund framework is intentionally strict to maintain transparency and prevent misuse.
  2. 10.2 Each transaction is treated as a service rendered in good faith under the mutually agreed consent email.
  3. 10.3 By confirming a booking, you acknowledge that no verbal promise or later claim overrides the written consent terms.
